The agreement centers around workflow offerings.

The value added reseller (VAR) agreement meansAgencyport will distribute PilotFish’s integration products, including its XCS eiPlatform, to its carrier customers. Agencyport also will bundle PilotFish’s integration software with its products.

“PilotFish Technology has emerged as one of the premier providers for companies requiring insurance and ACORD integration software. We’ve been extremely impressed with their knowledge and expertise over the course of several joint projects,” said Mason Power, head of product strategy and marketing at Agencyport Software, in a statement. “Their laser focus on integration technology, as well as their expertise in supporting the ACORD and XML standards and technical consistency with Agencyport products, makes this a compelling combination for our Property & Casualty insurance customers."

Pilotfish is no stranger to the insurance industry, reporting that 50 carriers, distributors and third-party providers have used its services.

"We are excited about our partnership with Agencyport and the opportunity to combine the exceptional strengths and capabilities of two leading insurance industry solutions,” adds Monika Vainius, VP of business development & strategic alliances at PilotFish Technology, in the statement. “With Agencyport’s global distribution network and products, and our own insurance-specific integration solutions, P&C carriers worldwide now have access to a best-in-class solution.”
