Allianz Launches Sweepstakes to Push Online-Only Auto Line in UK

Through Confused.com, a comparison Web site, Allianz is offering users the chance to win a car or iPad.

London's Allianz Insurance has launched Your Cover Insurance, an online-only auto offering, through Confused.com, a comparison website in the UK.

"Allianz is always looking to meet consumer demand and recognises that comparison sites present a popular way to buy insurance products," Andy James, head of direct customer marketing for Allianz Retail, says in a statement. "Confused.com receives millions of visitors each year and is an excellent platform for Allianz Your Cover insurance."

Allianz is giving Confused.com users the chance to win a MINI One, plus 2,000 pounds Sterling to customise the vehicle to promote the online launch. The carrier also will give away an Apple iPad every week for one month starting on the day of the launch.

Your Cover insurance is already available from www.yourcoverinsurance.co.uk. The product provides customers with the flexibility to build their own bespoke policy and choose the level of cover to suit their individual lifestyle and needs, Allianz claims.
