CNO Names John Wright EVP of Technology and Operations

The former Sun Life executive replaces Russell Bostick, who left CNO Tuesday.

Carmel, Ind.-based CNO Financial Group has hired John Wright as EVP of technology and operations.

Wright replaces Russell Bostick, who left the company Tuesday.

Wright was previously EVP of US operations at Sun Life Financial (Wellesley Hills, Mass.) There, he led operations, customer service, IT and facilities management for the company.

"John brings a wealth of experience in both information technology and operations, having very successfully integrated a combined technology and operations function for the US Operations of Sun Life Financial," CNO CEO Jim Prieur says in a statement. "He is a seasoned business leader, with deep expertise in leading system conversions, and improving service levels while managing operating expenses."

CNO added a corporate claims VP in November. The company changed its name from Conseco in May.
