Intact Financial Selects Guidewire Billing System

Intact Financial Corporation, Canada’s largest provider of home, auto and business insurance, has announced that it will implement Guidewire BillingCenter from GuideWire Software, Inc., a provider of P&C software products.

BillingCenter is a billing and receivables management system that allows insurers to more easily manage agent commissions, design flexible billing and payment plans, automate the billing lifecycle, and integrate with external payment systems.

Intact implementated Guidewire ClaimCenter earlier this year. “Our previous experience with Guidewire played a large part in our decision to implement BillingCenter,” said Mark Tullis, EVP for Intact. “We are now implementing a billing solution that will grow with us and deliver operational efficiencies and cost benefits well into the future.”
