Maine Municipal Association Selects NavRisk
Augusta, Maine-based Maine Municipal Association, a municipal risk pool, will replace its legacy applications with the NavRisk suite from San Francisco-based DAVID Corporation.
The company wanted to integrate its legacy policy administration and claims systems under a single umbrella, but after previous attempts proved unsatisfactory, it decided to turn to a packaged offering from a vendor.
"We came to the conclusion that we needed to cut our losses and start fresh with a new vendor to help us achieve our goals of not just implementing an integrated policy and claims system, but to help us provide services beyond traditional underwriting and claims management, such as enhanced analytics and loss control to our members,” stated Patricia Kablitz, Director of Risk Management Services for the Maine Municipal Association. "After an intense and thorough vetting process that included multiple interviews with DAVID’s existing clients, we feel confident that DAVID Corporation is the right partner and NavRisk is the right solution, to help us finally achieve what we set out to do years ago."
The Maine Municipal Association provides underwriting, member services, claims and loss prevention services to municipalities and other local governmental entities in Maine.
