MetLife Releases Bilingual Online Dental Health Game

To recognize February as National Children's Dental Health Month, the carrier launched the game and added to its online Oral Health Library.

New York-based MetLife has added the Healthy Mouth Match Up game to its online Oral Health Library.

The game, like many of the articles in the library, is available in both English and Spanish. The company says its goal is to encourage healthy habits in children.

"It is very important to instill good oral health habits at a young age," Dr. David Guarrera, DDS, VP of MetLife Dental Products, says in a statement. "Providing easy access to educational materials for both children and their parents is the first step in helping them understand the risks for dental disease. As dentistry has evolved over the years, it is also important that caregivers do not rely on their own childhood experiences, but inform themselves with the latest insights about care and treatment options."
