MGIC Names New CIO

Former banking exec Gregory Chi joins mortgage insurer MGIC as SVP and Chief Information Officer.

Gregory Chi has joined Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corporation (MGIC, Milwaukee) as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. He will lead the private mortgage insurance company's information technology team and the services it provides to the company and its customers.

Prior to joining MGIC, Chi was SVP of Enterprise Delivery Services with SunTrust Bank. Prior to joining SunTrust, he had been VP, Information Technology Development Application with MetLife, Inc. Prior to that, Chi held various senior management positions at MasterCard and BNY Mellon.

"Technology plays an important role in today's business environment and we are very pleased MGIC will have the benefit of Greg's experience in the financial services industry," said Curt Culver, MGIC Investment's chairman and CEO, in a press release.
