Swedish Insurer SalusAnsvar Selects FINEOS Claims Solution

Stockholm, Sweden-based SalusAnsvar Group Life has selected FINEOS as its claims management solution for life and disability claims.

With help from consultant Ekelw InfoSecurity (Stockholm), SalusAnsvar chose FINEOS after evaluating a field of competitors. The insurer will use the solution to support and manage the complete claims lifecycle from first notification to final settlement and resolution, according to a FINEOS source.

"FINEOS offered the best fit for both our business and technology requirements, commented Ulf Nilsson, managing director of SalusAsnvar Group Life. "We were impressed with the preconfigured business content for life and income protection claim handling which aligns with industry best practice in this area." Nilsson also cited the ease with which SalusAnsvar's IT and business staff could modify processes within their areas of activity owing to FINEOS Claims' configuration capabilities. "This approach will enable us to quickly adapt to changes in the business without reliance on external parties or specialist technical knowledge," he added.
