Travelers Enhances Risk Management Suite with New Risk Analyzer Dashboard

Travelers enhances risk management suite with new Risk Analyzer Dashboard, unveiled at RIMS 2012, designed to help customers more efficiently analyze loss trends.

To help business insurance customers find loss prevention opportunities and more efficiently analyze their loss experiences, Travelers announced Risk Analyzer, a new dashboard within e-CARMA, its risk management information suite of tools and services. The dashboard was unveiled at the 2012 RIMS Annual Conference & Exhibition in Philadelphia.

Developed by Travelers National Accounts and Risk Management Information Services (RMIS), Risk Analyzer helps risk management professionals find and compare timely, comprehensive information about claim activity and loss trends. This newest dashboard, available to all e-CARMA users this month, reflects improved visualization and navigation, as well as additional functionality within the system, according to Travelers.

"Through the Risk Analyzer Dashboard, Travelers is offering a collaborative and consultative approach to monitor, manage and minimize an organization's total losses," said Michael Strietelmeier, Vice President, RMIS at Travelers, in a press release. Risk Analyzer provides guided analysis designed to mirror how Travelers' Risk Control consultants perform risk assessments, the company says. Risk managers can use the dashboard to determine the most prevalent loss causes, injuries or ergonomic cases, enabling customers to manage and evaluate their company's loss experience. To better evaluate specific issues, professionals can drill down from summary information to individual claim details at many points during the analysis.

The functionality of the e-CARMA suite of products includes: claims management, safety analysis, Occupational Safety & Health Administration tracking, loss forecasting, loss/frequency rate analysis, key performance trending and risk management goal tracking.
