Travelers Relaunches Risk Control Site
Travelers (St. Paul, Minn.) has launched an enhanced Risk Control Web site featuring TravSources, a set of microsites aimed at providing customers and agents easier access to industry-specific risk management tools.
Through TravSources, customers will now be able to take advantage of helpful risk management guides, sample safety programs and training that can help reduce exposures and potential loss, according to a Travelers source. TravSources are currently available for specific industries including manufacturing, construction, restaurants, auto dealerships, educational institutions, technology and the printing industry. Travelers will be adding additional industry-specific resources throughout the year.
"TravSources offer our customers industry-specific resources that can help manage unique industry risks, while providing valuable information on emerging issues, major loss drivers and exposures," says Marty Henry, vice president of Travelers Risk Control. "Our customers will benefit by having this relevant information aggregated into one area."
Each TravSources collection consists of a risk profile summarizing the industry's major loss drivers and exposures, and organizes relevant resources by category. Categories include business continuity, driver & vehicle safety, employee safety & health, general liability, post-injury management, product safety, professional liability, property/facility management and safety administration.
In addition to aggregating helpful resources by topic, the improved Risk Control site also offers customers the opportunity to download materials or save them to the "Add to Favorites" section for easy bookmarking and future reference. The Special Features boxes highlight popular Risk Control products, newsworthy topics, emerging issues as well as external Web links to government and trade association sites, according to Travelers.
