USAA Unveils iPad App
San Antonio, Texas-based USAA has released an iPad application. In addition to banking and investment information, the application offers a number of insurance capabilities, including the ability to add or drop vehicles from auto policies and view auto coverage cards.
“The USAA App for iPad is different from the USAA iPhone App,” USAA president and CEO Joe Robles says in a statement. “We rethought and rebuilt the interactions and experiences from the ground up, specifically for the iPad and specifically for our members.”
On the non-insurance side, the app also allows users to pay bills, transfer funds and trade stocks. It is available from free in Apple's App Store.
