Valen Releases New Version of Workers' Comp Analytics Platform

InsureRight 2.0 includes additional reporting and multi-state capabilities.

Denver-based analytics provider Valen Technologies, has announced a new version of its InsureRight analytics platform for workers' compensation carriers, InsureRight 2.0.

New capabilities include:

  • a premium impact model, comprised of more than 4 million recent policies

  • portfolio management and production monitoring, including reporting, including trend analysis, governing class insights, distribution analysis and monitoring, and market analysis

  • class fit analysis, with increased focus on the most relevant questions and potential risks associated with misclassification, and

  • multi-state scoring capabilities

"Workers' compensation is one of the most difficult lines of business to predict accurately, and Valen provides a scientific way for underwriters to predict future policy risk correctly," said Dax Craig, President and CEO of Valen Technologies, in a statement. "With workers' compensation in a current state of peril, it is important for work comp carriers to base underwriting decisions on objective evidence rather than underwriter judgment alone."

Read what Craig and six other execs have to say about the big data trend.
