ACORD LOMA 2009: Duck Creek Technologies Releases New Billing Solution

Bolivar, Mo.-based Duck Creek Technologies introduced its new Duck Creek Billing Solution, a Web-based .NET system designed to support the end-to-end billing process for all lines of P&C insurance. It also streamlines and automates the billing processes, and supports and enhances customer relationship strategies, according to the vendor. Early-adopter implementations are currently under way at Dovetail Insurance Corp. (Columbia, S.C.) and SUA Insurance (Chicago).

Duck Creek Billing shares the same platform as Duck Creek Policy Administration and Rating Solution. It can be purchased with Duck Creek Policy Administration Solution, as a stand-alone billing solution, or integrated into an insurer's existing legacy or third-party system. The solution supports direct, agency and account bill for all lines of business; offers a Web 2.0 user interface and intuitive screen workflow design; provides a single point of change for plan maintenance; and has a flexible rules-based plan-configuration engine.
