AQS Introduces AQS/Advantage Product Manager
AQS (Harland, Wis.) introduced AQS/advantage Product Manager, a self-maintenance tool that allows carriers to update and manage core functions within its Web-centric commercial policy administration system, AQS/advantage. The new tool utilizes ISO IntegRater, the electronic delivery system of ISL loss costs and rating factors from Insurance Services Office. AQS/advantage Product Manager supports all commercial lines of business for all states and allows clients to manage and update rates, rules and documents within their AQS/advantage system.

Decision Research Introduces RateMaker Analyzer
Decision Research Corp. (Honolulu) introduced RateMaker Analyzer, which will be offered as an optional add-on tool for Decision Research's V1STA RateMaker solution or as a stand-alone utility. The RateMaker Analyzer tool enables insurers and MGAs to analyze their current books of business and perform "what if" tests of rate changes to determine the potential impact on their business. RateMaker Analyzer will be available with the release of Microsoft's SQL Server 2005.
Allfinanz Launches Underwriting Solution
Allfinanz (Dublin) launched Release 3.5 of its xpertBridge Web-based, rules-driven automated underwriting solution. Release 3.5 provides significant enhancements to the support of straight-through processing (STP) in xpertBridge's Home Office environment, enabling companies to support 100 percent of their new business cases on a single platform, regardless of product or application submission method (e.g., paper-based or electronic-based applications), according to the vendor. The enhancements have been incorporated into the base xpertBridge product to make the extended capabilities available to current and future xpertBridge clients.
