Delta Dental Companies Launch New Web Site

Delta Dental of California, Pennsylvania and affiliated companies have launched a redesigned Web site to improve user experience and site navigation, according to a joint announcement.

The revamped site at www.deltadentalins.com sports a new look and feel, while retaining the most popular functions of the previous site such as the Delta Dental dentist directory and secure access to personal eligibility, benefits and claims information, according to Delta companies spokespeople. New pages provide targeted information for individuals, dentists, brokers, employers and benefits administrators, while additional content, such as a dental plan "shopping guide" and a list of Delta Dental plans available by area, will help individuals who want to explore purchase of dental insurance for themselves and/or their families.

"Our Web visitors will find what they're looking for more quickly, whether they are enrollees, dentists, brokers or group clients, because the page content is organized to match their needs," says Patrick Steele, executive vice president and CIO. "Our goal with this redesign was to make important information easier to find and use, and to provide easy access to information about our companies, products and dental health in general."

Certain familiar features remain the same as in the former iteration of the site, such as enrollee sign-in and registration page and all pages accessible with a valid login ID, including enrollee-specific eligibility and claims information. The online Delta Dental dentist directory, which includes detailed language, education, mapping and other information, also remains unchanged, according to the Delta Dental source.

Delta Dental of California, Delta Dental Insurance Company, Delta Dental of Pennsylvania and its affiliated companies within the holding company system, along with Delta Dental of New York, provide dental benefits plans in 15 states plus the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. All are part of the Delta Dental Plans Association (DDPA), based in Oak Brook, Ill., which consists of 39 Delta Dental member companies licensed in all 50 states.
