ING Tool Channels Sales Support Capabilities to Distribution Partners

ING Life Companies' Resource Avenue delivers a wide variety of sales support functions that general agency and producer groups can share with affiliated distributors on their own sites.

ING Life Companies (Minneapolis) have introduced Resource Avenue, a Web-based tool that enables general agencies and producer groups that promote ING life insurance products to make the carrier's online sales and support resources available to their affiliated distributors. Resource Avenue allows general agencies, brokerage companies or producer or intermediary groups to easily integrate ING sales support resources to their own password-protected Web sites or intranet portals, according to an ING source.

Resource Avenue makes available the following ING resources, according to the carrier:

Life Product Avenue - This micro site provides product and concept information and other resources, including underwriting guides, forms, and access to illustrations.

Term Life Insurance Suite - Detailed information on all of the term products from the ING Life Companies.

Executive Benefits Resource Center - A one-stop shop for information about ING Life Companies' Executive Benefits Platform.

Life Illustration Express - Provides premium comparisons and produces personalized illustrations.

SpeedQuote - A premium calculator for the ING Life Companies' term insurance products.

Forms Wizard - Includes ING forms to support submitting and servicing business with ING.

Term E-Submit - Simplifies process of submitting term life insurance business by providing online application and submission.

One of the online tools, Life Illustration Express, which was introduced in 2008, quickly provides life illustrations for multiple term and universal life products at the same time, according to ING. Life insurance distributors provide their clients' criteria and can instantly compare products to see what works best. The tool is web-based and requires no software installation and very limited training.
