Lansing, Mich.-based Jackson National Life Insurance Company today launched a new corporate Web site -- the initial phase in a larger online initiative to add more online functionality and update its overall Web presence.
The new corporate site features enhanced tools and capabilities around online transactions processing and client data management, as well as multimedia educational presentations and product comparison guides, according to a press release. Jackson also worked to improve site navigation and streamline its online registration process.
"Advisers and their clients are increasingly turning to the Web as a primary resource for financial transactions, education and research," Mike Wells, Jackson vice chairman and chief operating officer, said in a statement. "However, very few Web sites in our industry deliver a comprehensive set of tools and resources that are easy to navigate and understand."
The newly launched site features enhanced variable annuity (VA) trading and book of business management and a new forms search module. Advisers will also have access to a personalized dashboard on the site, which will allow easier access to pertinent information such as pending transactions and frequently used forms. A virtual file cabinet feature will let advisers store and access all Jackson correspondence electronically.
On the education front, Jackson has developed multimedia presentations to help advisers and clients better understand its products and review retirement income planning strategies, investment and tax information and industry trends. Another tutorial was created to demonstrate the features of the new site.
