Minnesota Life Adopts iPipeline iGO e-App
Minnesota Life Insurance Co. (St. Paul), a Securian Financial Group affiliate has selected iPipeline's iGO electronic application for its individual life insurance business. The insurer will use the iGO e-app for individual term and indexed universal life products, with the intention of adding additional product lines in the future, according to an iPipeline news release.
"Offering a next-generation selling and processing solution directly impacts our producer’s ability to succeed, while helping us retain and attract the best talent," comments Craig Frisvold, VP, Minnesota Life. "It also enhances our outstanding service capabilities to our clients and producers. We want that experience to be the best in the industry. iPipeline’s streamlined approach speeds processing and paves the way to implementing other automated solutions for our producers."
Designed to reduce errors and speed application processing, iGO e-App enables producers to potentially accelerate sales by reducing cycle time and leveraging e-signature and e-submission to achieve straight-through processing, iPipeline claims.
"We are witnessing substantial demand for our iGO e-App product line in the captive segment of the carrier market place," reports Timothy Wallace, CEO, iPipeline. "In this regard, sales are quite strong this year and account for a large percentage of our business."
"The industry is trending away from content distribution to transactional processing where the producer generates 100% in Good Order applications for e-submission directly at the point of sale," Wallace continues. "The positive impact on cycle time reduction and placement ratio lift is enormous."
