FRAUD DATABASE ISO

JERSEY CITY, NJ--The Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO), has expanded the ISO ClaimSearch anti-fraud system to provide access to a broader range of criminal and civil record searches. The enhancements of ISO ClaimSearch service include direct access through its Web site to federal, state and county criminal and civil records searches countrywide, the Sheriffs' National Data System and other exclusive online anti-fraud information sources, according to ISO. Users of the ISO ClaimSearch database will also have off-line access to single-county criminal and civil record searches.

INDIANAPOLIS--Professional Data Management Again, Inc. (PDMA), has launched enhanced Internet support with Version 1.10 of the LifePRO insurance administration system. Real-time access to LifePRO Version 1.10 processing logic and data may be integrated with other applications to allow for several different types of information and service requests by prospective customers, policy owners, agents and/or home-office staff, according to the vendor. PDMA has also announced a new Web site, www.pdmagain.net, where users can find the enhanced Internet support.

EDISON, NJ--NaviSys, Inc., a life insurance software provider, released NaviSys Front Office 7.0, which features improvements to NaviSys' proprietary workflow tool designed specifically for life and annuity processing, as well as a more robust rules engine and enhanced personalization for easier usability, announced the vendor. The customizable workflow allows users to configure new business processes to suit any distribution channel or company-specific practice, claims NaviSys. Users of the system, not programmers, edit, add or delete these rules in accordance with the firm's underwriting guidelines.

WEB SERVICES MERCATOR

WILTON, CT--Mercator Software, Inc., has released a suite of products for Web services, including a Java Connector Architecture (JCA) product. Web Services Integration Package 1.0 allows customers to access both application information and services via the Internet without the need for insurance companies to alter existing applications and IT infrastructure. The package provides full integration with enterprise systems and includes a SOAP adapter, WSDL importer and examples and documentation that enable rapid implementation. JCA Gateway 1.0 customers can integrate an array of application and technology resources by taking advantage of JCA-compliant adapters created by third-party vendors, according to Mercator.

CHARLOTTE--Adhesion Technologies, Inc., a provider of financial account consolidation software to insurance and financial services companies, has added a component to its EA Financial Consolidation Platform. EA Personal-Vault, the new component, provides users with flexibility and control over sensitive account information. With EA Personal-Vault, a user's credentials are securely stored in a location of their choice, either with their trusted financial institution or on their own PC, according to Adhesion. The Personal-Vault option also assures that aggregation occurs only when requested directly by the user.

COSTA MESA, CA--MGE UPS Systems, a provider of high-availability power solutions, has introduced its scalable Galaxy PW Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) product. The Galaxy's scalable architecture allows users to purchase just the power they need to suit current purposes and scale up as needed as their infrastructure grows, according to MGE UPS Systems. Protecting from 50 to 300 servers, the Galaxy family of UPS includes six scalable models in power ranges from 100 to 225 kVA. The product's modular design allows for paralleling power modules for capacity and redundancy, eliminating the need for extra paralleling equipment, says MGE UPS Systems.
