Great West Casualty Selects Licensing and Appointments Service

Great West Casualty Company, a South Sioux City, Neb.-based insurer that services the trucking industry, is set to implement Professional Compliance & Requirements Management (PCRM) Carrier licensing and appointment system from Rhoads Online Institute (ROi), the New York-based vendor announced on Wednesday in a press release.

The PCRM Carrier solution will manage Great West's internal compliance workflow, file appointments and terminations, track continuing education and provide secure linkages to the carrier's internal IT systems and enterprise level applications, according to ROi. Great West expects that the system could help it to reduce complexity and the time it takes to ensure compliance with state regulatory systems.

"As one of the largest insurance companies serving the trucking industry, Great West is driven to provide second-to-none service to everyone we deal with," an unnamed Great West regulatory operations and compliance executive stated in the press release. "Since that service focus extends to the brokers and agents representing our lines, making use of a system that handles compliance matters, particularly appointments, with ease, speed and certainty is a necessity."
