State Farm Releases Inventory IPad App

Bloomington, Ill.-based P&C carrier State Farm has released MoveTools, an iPad application that helps users plan for a move.

When packing boxes, users can create an inventory of contents in the app, and print labels for boxes. Those labels feature QR codes, which can be read by smartphones and display a list of the contents without opening the box.

“MoveTools blends innovation with utility in something that’s useful to people during one of the biggest moments in their lives,” Patty Gaumond, assistant VP of enterprise internet solutions at State Farm, says in a statement.

The free app is available in the App Store.
