Summit 2002 Tackles ROI

Can insurers be both fiscally responsible and visionary?

Everyone recognizes the importance of achieving ROI on technology investments, especially in a still-shaky economic environment. But too often calculating and obtaining payback becomes an end in itself, at the expense of innovation, competitiveness and customer-focus.

Strategies for reconciling the drive for ROI with the imperative to be innovative and leading-edge will be revealed at Insurance & Technology's Executive Summit 2002, "The New ROI: Balancing Vision & Value," November 3-6, 2002, at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix. Now in its fourth year, I&T's Executive Summit is a unique, invitation-only event that brings together insurance technology decision-makers from all lines of business and leading solutions providers for three days of networking, education and resource development.

In addition to a full conference program that will provide insights into how visionary insurance companies are running fiscally responsible IT operations, while still positioning themselves to lead in a competitive marketplace, Executive Summit 2002 will feature one-on-one sponsor meetings and the Elite 8 Awards Dinner, recognizing the honorees of I&T's annual special issue profiling the industry's most successful tech executives.

Confirmed sponsors of this year's event include CSC, Deloitte Consulting, SAP, Selectica, Sherwood International, SOLCORP, Sun Microsystems and Tata Consulting Services (TCS).
