The Customer-Centricity Challenge

I&T's Executive Summit 2001 provides insights into new competitive arena.

Insurers are on the front lines of the battle to reach, sell, service and retain customers in today's multi-channel, competitive financial services industry. One way for executives to gain the resources, contacts and information they need to understand the real potential of key enabling technologies and make the right technology investments in a customer-centric environment is by attending the Insurance & Technology Executive Summit 2001—"Putting Customers First, and Profiting from It"—Dec. 9-12, 2001, at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel, Phoenix.

Attendees at this year's Insurance & Technology Executive Summit will benefit from three days of networking, education and entertainment for top industry executives—CIOs, CTOs, e-commerce directors, presidents, line-of-business heads and other technology decision-makers—who want to stay ahead of the critical issues shaping their industry.

Highlights of this invitation-only event, now in its third year, include: insight into the most business-critical IT issues from technology innovators, including CRM and wireless/mobile; special interest roundtables on hot topics including Technology ROI, Systems Integration Best Practices and E-Business Strategies that Work; the Elite 8 2001 Awards Dinner, recognizing the honorees of I&T's annual special issue; and one-to-one meetings with solutions providers, to learn how to implement strategic technology initiatives.

Confirmed sponsors include Deloitte Consulting (Breakfast, Monday, Dec. 10), Trilogy (Golf Tournament, Monday), Sherwood International (Breakfast, Tuesday, Dec. 11), IONA Technologies (Lunch, Monday) and CheckFree (Lunch, Tuesday).

Among the topics to be covered as part of the conference program are: Are You Ready for the Truth about the Financial Services Consumer?, Using E-Technologies To Improve Service and Customer Retention, and Redefining the CIO's Role in a Customer-Centric World.
