EnvoyXpress To Free Electric's Representatives
In order to allow its insurance representatives to focus on counseling for coverage, servicing policies and resolving claims, Electric Insurance Co. (Beverly, MA), a direct writer, has chosen EnvoyWorldWide's (Billerica, MA) EnvoyXpress. The application will allow for delivery of routine messages, such as welcoming customers and non-payment or payment renewal notifications, to Electric's customers on their preferred wired or wireless device.
"We are a direct writer so we don't have a face-to-face relationship like an agent would with our customers," says Dominick Cipolla, vice president of operations and quality, Electric Insurance. "So we have to instill the highest amount of trust with our customers."
"The comprehensive nature of their Envoy's technology is what attracted us to it," says Jack Schumaker, customer service manager, Electric Insurance. "Not only can we communicate on a larger scale, in a much more timely fashion via email, but we also have the capacity to do it via voice."
Electric planned to implement EnvoyXpress by the end of April, according to Cipolla.
