McDonnell UP AT NEF

Thom Faria, president of New England Financial (Boston), a unit of MetLife, has left the company and will be succeeded by Eileen McDonnell, now SVP for individual insurance business development.

JAMES JOINS SUNGARD

J.P. James was named senior vice president sales and marketing for Miami-based SunGard Insurance Systems. Prior to joining SunGard, James had tenures at ProAct Technologies, as head of sales and business development, a number of roles with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and oversaw the insurance search practice for A. T. Kearney.

MCHENRY JOINS MS/B

Bonnie L. McHenry, former director of corporate underwriting at MetLife Auto & Home, has joined Marshall and Swift/Boeckh (Los Angeles) as vice president of MS/B's underwriting decisions group.

ANDERSON JOINS BISYS

Eric Anderson has been named president of education and licensing services for New York-based BISYS. Previously, Anderson held positions in both the financial services and educational outsourcing industries, including sales, marketing and management roles with S1 Corp., Executrain and Baxter Healthcare Corp.

dakota names stevens

Dakota Imaging (Columbia, MD) has appointed Brant Stevens senior vice president of sales and marketing. Stevens was VP of sales with Sterling Commerce.
