MphasiS Names Head of Insurance Industry Solutions Group

Ann Weaver has joined MphasiS (New York) as head of the company's Insurance Industry Solutions Group. Weaver will lead a team of domain experts and technical consultants as MphasiS grows its insurance practice, which offers what the company calls business-driven technology and business process solutions to the global insurance industry. According to the vendor, insurance is one of MphasiS' strategic focus verticals and this appointment is a step towards further augmenting and strengthening insurance globally.

Weaver comes to MphasiS, an HP company, from Aon, where she spent 11 years in a variety of management and technical roles, most recently as Aon Risk Services' CIO for Global Products. At MphasiS, Weaver will be responsible for growing the company's insurance vertical, leveraging her domain expertise to develop strategies for innovation and growth. She will guide the company's strategy for the development of business solutions, strategic investments, alliances and partnerships. Weaver will report to Ganesh Pai, Head-Global Insurance Vertical.
