MSB Releases BI Suite

Marshall & Swift/Boeckh (MSB, Milwaukee) has launched InFocus Solutions, a suite of business intelligence software.

InFocus helps property and casualty insurers act upon leakage, sales channel performance, risk selection, loss prevention and mitigation, pricing accuracy and low policy count growth. It segments books of business by loss ratio, loss costs, retention, frequency, severity, ITV coverage adequacy and/or distribution channel performance, identifying the variables in each segment that are driving the results and allows the insurer to complete detailed root cause analyses, all the way down to the policy level, MSB claims.

MSB says that InFocus helps P&C insurers ensure that the necessary data is accessible, accurate, and in the correct format, create and test valuable dashboarding and reporting capabilities, integrate these dashboarding/reporting capabilities into core business operations, and develop and embed predictive modeling capabilities into core business operations.
