Neptuny Launches Caplan 3.0, Capacity Management Solution

Neptuny (Milan), a provider of IT Performance Optimization and Data Center management solutions, has launched Caplan 3.0, a capacity management solution for large data centers and networks.

The new version of Caplan facilitates successful implementation of virtualization and consolidation initiatives as well as the production of future scenarios to enable the alignment between IT resources and business initiatives, according to Neptuny. Caplan 3.0 aims to reduce overcapacity of datacenters and networks by determining the amount of capacity required at any given time, notes the company, possibly leading to cost savings and greener IT practices.
