Plymouth Rock to Implement StoneRiver Claims, CRM Software

The carrier's goal is to use service-oriented architecture to streamline its operations.

Boston-based P&C insurer Plymouth Rock will implement the Claims Stream and Customer Stream programs from Oakland, Calif.-based StoneRiver, the companies announced today.

The company plans to deploy the full suite of StoneRiver Stream products, which also include billing, policy administration and distribution components, as it looks to service-oriented architecture as a way to streamline its operations. The components it's starting with help speed claims and provide insight into business relationships, the companies say.

"We have enjoyed a long and successful relationship with StoneRiver and felt very confident in selecting them again when we put our strategic plan in place to modernize our core processing environment," Paul Luongo, president and CIO of Shared Technology Services Group Inc., the technology affiliate of the Plymouth Rock Group of Companies, says in a statement.
