AAA Auto Club Group Selects CodeObjects for Policy Admin and Billing

The AAA Auto Club Group (ACG), a non-profit AAA affiliate operating in eight Midwestern and Great Lakes area states, is set to implement PolicyEnterprise and BillingEnterprise, policy administration and billing software systems from Milpitas, Calif.-based CodeObjects. ACG is affiliated with the Auto Club Insurance Association, a Dearborn, Mich.-based reciprocal inter-insurance exchange which underwrites property and casualty insurance products.

The policy administration and billing systems are built on CodeObjects' SOA-based architecture, according to a press release. ACG senior vice president and CIO Brent Stahlheber suggests that an SOA environment will help the company better meet its business objectives. "Our vision is to have an open, flexible IT platform that will enable us to more effectively meet changing customer needs," Stahlheber said in the press release.
