Grinnell InfoSystems Implements DecisionMaker at Jamestown Mutual

Grinnell, Iowa.-based Grinnell InfoSystems, Inc. (GIS), a subsidiary of Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company that provides technology solutions to farm mutual insurers, has successfully implemented Decision Research Corporation's (Honolulu) DecisionMaker policy servicing and billing components into its Oasis platform for Jamestown Mutual Insurance (Jamestown, N.Y.).

With DecisionMaker, GIS's Oasis System now has the flexibility to support a hybrid line of business, encompassing homeowners and farm owners, says DRC. DecisionMaker helped Grinnell's product managers and business analysts configure the user interface, business rules, and rate calculation without the normal detailed involvement of programming resources, accordign to a GIS source.
