PDMA Releases LifePRO v15

PDMA has announced the general availability of LifePRO Version 15, a major upgrade to its life, health and annuity administration system.

Indianapolis-based PDMA has unveiled LifePRO Version 15, the latest version of its policy administration system for life, health and annuities. The LifePRO platform aims to streamline policy administration through a central product rues engine, real-time customer service and flexible agent compensation support, the vendor says.

The LifePRO application is developed in Fujitsu NetCOBOL for .NET and the Microsoft (Redmond, Wash.) .NET framework, according to a press release, to offer interoperability and ease of integration with other systems, data access methods and languages. The latest version of the system also includes enhanced Microsoft SQL Server database optimization and management.

LifePRO Version 15 also includes support for a new line of business, credit life and disability insurance, offering flexible product design, e-commerce support and XML-based forms generation, the vendor says. Other new business features include expanded support for annuity benefits as well as enhanced long term care products, including benefit inflation based on the consumer price index and restoration of benefits functionality.
