ATLANTA--Agents can now get access to instant bill status over the Internet through ebix.com Inc.'s unified direct bill inquiry system. The system simplifies the direct bill status process by giving agents a single interface that provides access to multipleinsurers with a single master password and login. The system is part of the vendor's ebixexchange service. There is no charge for carriers that use the service, but agencies will be charged $5 per carrier per agency, with a minimum monthly fee of $25 per agency.
