SafeAuto Selects Thunderhead NOW for Policy, Billing and Claims Document Generation

The Columbus, Ohio-based P&C carrier sought to extent its document management capabilities with a new solution compatible with Guidewire InsuranceSuite.

Seeking to extend its document management system with a solution compatible with Guidewire (Foster City, Calif.) InsuranceSuite, SafeAuto Insurance (Columbus, Ohio) has selected the Thunderhead NOW solution to provide standardized documentation on a single platform for all policy, billing and claims document generation across the organization. Thunderhead.com will work with existing solutions to deliver enhanced customer service for SafeAuto, enabling the company to maximize its existing IT investments, according to a vendor statement.

“At SafeAuto, we realized that we needed to communicate with our customers in new ways to make sure that we delivered the best level of service possible when it came to sharing claims, policy and billing information,” comments Shane Switzer, VP of procurement and strategic planning at SafeAuto. “We chose Thunderhead.com for its ability to help us up our level of communications beyond just mail and fax and into web and text, all from one easy-to-manage platform. The platform also seamlessly integrates with our existing IT infrastructure, reducing costs and eliminating the need to rip and replace systems.”

Thunderhead.com provides SafeAuto’s IT department with a straightforward pricing model, reduces annual maintenance costs and significantly increases technical flexibility, according to the vendor statement. SafeAuto also selected Thunderhead.com for its proven track record of allowing business users to design, create and maintain form content with minimal assistance from IT, the vendor asserts.
