SurfControl

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA—To help enterprises manage the security risks associated with exponential growth of instant messaging (IM) and peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing, SurfControl has launched a new product/strategy titled "Project Blackbeard." According to SurfControl, its product will provide companies with content-filtering tools to manage the growing network security risks posed by the adoption of IM and P2P file-sharing in the workplace.
