Selective Announces Executive Promotions in Claims and IT
Following the announcement last week that Gordon Gaudet would join the company as EVP, Chief Information Officer, Selective Insurance Group, Inc., (Branchville, N.J.) has announced a number of claims, IT and operations-related appointments at its subsidiary, Selective Insurance Company of America.
George Neale, who joined Selective last month, was named senior vice president, Chief Claims Officer. Previously, he was executive vice president, Chief Claims Officer for Commercial Insurance for Liberty Mutual. Also in claims, Michael Zondory was appointed vice president, Property and Catastrophe Claims. He joined Selective in 2011 as assistant vice president, Large Loss Property Claims.
John Bresney was promoted to senior vice president, Application Delivery Services. Bresney, who joined the property/casualty insurer in 1994 as a management trainee and programmer most recently served as vice president, Business Relationship Director for Personal Lines.
Joanne Dagostino was named vice president, SIU, Recovery and Shared Services. She joined Selective in 2001 as SIU manager, was promoted to assistant vice president in 2002, and assumed responsibility for Recovery in 2011 and Claims Compliance in 2012.
Other appointments include Kelly Sims as vice president, Field Operations Manager for Selective's New Jersey Region, and John Willenborg as to vice president, Field Operations Manager for the Northeast Region. Margaret Sherlock, who joined Selective in 2005 as a managing attorney, was named vice president, Regional Director, Staff Counsel. And Shadi Albert was appointed assistant vice president, Reinsurance.
