Andover Companies Sees Quick Delivery through SaaS Delivery of iPartners Insurance Scorecard

The Massachusetts-based holding company, which does business as Merrimack Mutual, Cambridge Mutual, and Bay State, tapped iPartners for quality of its product, and the company's extensive P&C insurance expertise and specific knowledge of the company's own core systems.

P&C holding company The Andover Companies (Andover, Mass.) has selected Atlanta-based iPartners' Insurance Scorecard to enable better decision making through access to accurate information, combined with analysis and reporting, according to a vendor statement.

The Andover Companies will deploy the iPartners solution throughout the enterprise which comprises three distinct companies: Merrimack Mutual, Cambridge Mutual, and Bay State. The Andover Companies anticipates an on schedule production environment in early 2012, owing to iPartners' software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivery of the solution, the vendor reports.

The iPartners solution will address The Andover Companies' limited data access and lack of analytical tools and reporting capabilities, the vendor says. In addition to the potential benefits offered by the Insurance Scorecard business intelligence solution, The Andover Companies also recognized and valued iPartners' extensive property & casualty experience, specifically with back office legacy systems and the related data challenges, as well as its ability to deliver the solution quickly and efficiently, iPartners reports.

"With increased demands for easy access to our data, we needed a better way to give management accurate information needed to make decisions," comments Gary Beiswenger, assistant VP, IT, The Andover Companies. "We also wanted to enhance our reporting from just ad hoc query."
