Auto/WC Top New P&C Laws Passed in 2002

In 2002, 240 new property and casualty laws were passed, with legislation concerning credit-based insurance scoring, auto insurance and workers' comp being the most common, according to a report from the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (Indianapolis). Other recurring themes in the laws passed by 44 different state legislatures include licensing, financial regulation and rate regulation.
