Cover-All Business Intelligence Enabled for iPad

Available at the iTunes store, Cover-All Business Intelligence currently includes 160 measures viewable across 96 dimensions and can be operational in less than three months, the vendor asserts.

P&C software solutions vendor Cover-All (Fairfield, N.J.) has announced the launch of its new Business Intelligence Application for the iPad (Cover-All BI), which the vendor asserts will make it faster and easier for Cover-All Business Intelligence customers to access and share their business information “on the go” utilizing powerful and configurable graphic tools and reports.

Cover-All describes its Business Intelligence solution as giving business and power users the ability to easily report, analyze, interrogate, drill-down and drill-through any aspect of your business performance irrespective of underlying systems or technology. With an inventory which currently includes 160 measures viewable across 96 dimensions, Cover-All Business Intelligence can be operational in less than three months, the vendor claims. As part of what the vendor calls a turnkey solution, Cover-All Business Intelligence provides data models for pre-staging, staging, warehouse and data mart covering core insurance subject areas supporting global and diverse insurance business needs.

“Today, we live in a world of data super-abundance and instant information access,” comments Martina Conlon, principal analyst, Novarica (New York). “The Internet, search engines and web services have elevated the “educated consumer” to a new level. Producer, employee and consumer expectations about mobile access to information is driven not by what insurers are providing but rather by what banks, airlines, hotels, and other service providers are offering them in their day-to-day lives. Insurance business intelligence solutions that support a tablet platform can deliver big operational benefits to field underwriters, claims adjusters, and independent agent channel managers, as well as keep executives informed of the state of business when they are out of the office.”

The Cover-All Business Intelligence App can be downloaded from the iTunes store. With an active subscription, users can access the application and draw the data and dashboards from anywhere with a working Internet connection. Sold pre-packaged with what the vendor calls a robust “middle tier”, along with an ultra-configurable presentation layer, which includes user-friendly dashboards, powerful configurability, and out-of-the-box reporting, Cover-All Business Intelligence minimizes implementation time, but maximizes flexibility, the vendor asserts.
