Recognizing IT Excellence
The visionary insurance technology executives recognized as Insurance & Technology's Elite 8 2001 will be honored at the annual Awards Dinner at the Executive Summit 2001, "Putting Customers First, and Profiting from It" (Dec. 9-12, Arizona Biltmore Hotel, Phoenix).
This year's Elite 8 comprises Ken Barger, CTO, The Hartford; Byrne Chapman, VP of Information Services, American Family Mutual Insurance; June Drewry, EVP/CIO, Aon Corp.; Barbara Koster, SVP/CIO, individual life insurance and retail distribution, Prudential Financial; Chuck McCaig, managing director, SVP, information technology, Chubb & Son; Mark Popolano, CIO, AIG; Bob Walters, EVP/CIO, John Hancock Financial; and Stephen Yates, president, USAA Information Technology Co.
In addition to recognizing the achievements of the Elite 8 2001, Insurance & Technology's Executive Summit 2001 also will address the industry's response to the September 11 Terrorist attacks, and will focus on helping executives address the management challenges created by the tragedy.
