Grange Insurance Chooses HP Exstream As Single Document Automation Solution

The enterprise-wide implementation of the HP Exstream solution will enable Grange to more efficiently create, publish and manage its documents across all the carrier's brands and business units, a Grange spokesman says.

Grange Insurance (Columbus, Ohio) will replace its current software to implement HP Exstream (Palo Alto, Calif.) as the carrier's single document automation solution. The carrier expects greater efficiencies in the design, production and delivery of customer-facing documents such as claims correspondence, insurance ID cards, declarations, billing invoices, quote proposals and product contracts, according to an HP news release.

"A single solution for the enterprise aligns with an IT strategy to have 'one solution' per key function," comments Michael Fergang, CIO, Grange Insurance. "By selecting HP Exstream as our enterprise-wide document automation solution, we will eliminate multiple-point solutions with a single platform to support all of our interactive, batch and real-time document requirements."

The HP solution will enable Grange to more efficiently create, publish and manage its documents across all the carrier's brands and business units, says Glenn Watson, assistant vice president and manager, personal lines IT, Grange Insurance. "Not only will HP Exstream help streamline and automate many of our document processes, it will also offer interactive and real-time capabilities that will allow us to distribute our documents in a manner that's most convenient for and customized to our policyholders, regardless of current or yet-to-be developed communication platforms."
