Patriot National Selects Paradox Technology Solutions' WorkersCompExpert

The Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based carrier will use PTS's suite to support its insurance, managing general underwriting, billing and claims services operations.

Patriot National Insurance Group (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) has selected Paradox Technology Solutions' (PTS, Chicago) WorkersCompExpert software suite to support its insurance, managing general underwriting, billing and claims services operations.

"The PTS WorkersCompExpert system is a highly configurable platform that meets the requirements of our various business units as well as provides the desired technology environment for our future," comments Judith Haddad, Patriot National's CIO/CTO. "The selection of PTS as our vendor partner was preceded by a rigorous screening of many workers' compensation platforms. It was followed by a proof of concept phase involving extensive gap analysis and testing to gauge delivery of some Patriot-specific functionality. We are looking forward to being the first insurance organization to launch the WorkersCompExpert system internally, to our agent partners and over 16,000 policyholders."

The vendor describes WorkersCompExpert as a state-of-the-art, web based, fully integrated policy administration, billing and claims management platform for workers' compensation carriers, MGA/MGU's, TPA's and self-insured employers. PTS' solutions are available through an innovative licensing model across fifty states. PTS also provides client partners with a full range of implementation services including project management, implementation, data conversion and training.
