Symetra Life Selects Wydes Wynsure System for Group Life and Disability Income

Wynsure will support policy quoting, underwriting, policy administration and claims in support of Symetra's growing life and disability insurance income operations.

Symetra Life Insurance Company, a division of Symetra Financial, Bellevue, Wash., has selected Wyde's (Eagan, Minn.) Wynsure system as the end-to-end administration solution for its expanding group life and disability income insurance business, according to a vendor statement. When fully implemented, Wynsure will support policy quoting, underwriting, policy administration and claims, according to Wyde. The first phase of the initiative, scheduled to be implemented this year, will cover new business and policy administration.

"With our plans to expand Symetra's group life and disability income insurance operation, we need an integrated systems solution to support us as we grow," comments Michael Fry, executive VP of Symetra's Group Division. "Wynsure will be a key component of this important growth initiative."
