Turkey's Leading P&C Insurer Selects Accenture's Claims Components

The Claim Components implementation figures within a broader transformation initiative by Anadolu Sigorta begun in 2008 and aimed at establishing an operating model focused on customer satisfaction and growth.

Istanbul-based Anadolu Sigorta, Turkey's leading P&C insurer, has licensed Accenture's (New York) Claims Components Solution and contracted the consultant to implement and maintain the system. The Accenture solution will be designed to help Anadolu Sigorta accelerate claims processing and improve customer service while reducing operational costs, according to an Accenture news release.

The Claim Components implementation figures within a broader transformation initiative by Anadolu Sigorta begun in 2008 and aimed at establishing an operating model focused on customer satisfaction and growth, according to Accenture.

Because claims management plays such a pivotal role in customer satisfaction, our objective is to provide our customers with the best possible claims service, leveraging the most advanced technologies, comments Musa lken, deputy CEO, Anadolu Sigorta. We selected Accenture because of its understanding of the claims handling process, its global experience in implementing core insurance systems and because the Accenture Claim Components Solution is a highly configurable solution that enables rapid deployment across all of our insurance business lines.

Accenture will implement the Accenture Claim Components Solution to support core claims transactions -- from first notice of loss through financials and reserve management -- for Anadolu Sigortas P&C insurance operation in Turkey, according to Accenture. In addition, Accenture will provide the insurer with related software maintenance and upgrades for five years.
