Unirisx Appoints Marion Madden Non-Executive Chairman, London Markets

Former R J Kiln & Co. executive's contribution will support SaaS global insurance service provider's effort to expand its presence in key markets in the U.K. and continental Europe.

Unirisx LLC, a Philadelphia-based provider of global insurance services via software-as-a-service, has named Marion Madden non-executive chairman to the London Market. Madden will leverage her expertise within the Lloyd's market to further expand Unirisx's presence in the London market, according to a Unirisx press release.

"Marion's extensive corporate experience, particularly in the Lloyd's insurance market, makes her an excellent candidate to oversee the London market space," comments David Hollander, CEO of Unirisx. "Her appointment further supports our efforts of an expanded presence in key markets such as the U.K. and continental Europe."

Ms. Madden served as Group COO at R J Kiln & Co. Ltd., one of the largest managing agents operating in the Lloyd's insurance market, where she redesigned end to end operations and developed the company's IT strategy to ensure scalability of operations globally, according to the Unirisx source. After beginning her career at NatWest, a global financial services provider, Ms. Madden spent 12 years with American Express where she was promoted to Senior Vice President of Global re-engineering. In 2002, she moved to Royal and Sun Alliance where she was responsible for change management programs. Ms. Madden sits on several boards within the insurance industry and financial services.

"Having worked in the financial services industry for over 25 years and understanding how vital technology can be, this opportunity to reshape the London Markets with Unirisx is tremendously exciting and important," says Madden.
