CEMIC Implements ISCS's SurePower Policy Admin Suite
Regional P&C carrier CEM Insurance Company (CEMIC; Deer Park, Ill.) has implemented ISCS's (San Jose, Calif.) SurePower Innovation policy administration suite, according to an ISCS news release. The eight-month project successfully met the target timeline for implementing a full enterprise solution for four products in multiple states, according to ISCS.
CEMIC's specialty lines focus drove the carrier's to achieve cost-effective means of product development, according to ISCS. The carrier selected ISCS's SurePower Innovation in part because it can handle all the company's needs, including online/hosted underwriting, claiims, billing, document imaging and full policy administration, the vendor release says.
"As our product base, agent base, and written premiums continued to grow, it was clear the use of additional technology was a necessity to more efficiently process our current business and assist with controlled growth moving forward," comments Christopher DuCharme, director of program operations, CEMIC. "The most important benefits [of the SurePower implementation] to CEMIC were the efficiencies the system provided, the additional data and reporting features, and the ability to equip our agents with cutting-edge technology to remain competitive within our environment."
