CGI has released Ratabase V6.0, the latest version of its rate management software for the insurance industry.

Montreal-based CGI Group has announced Ratabase V6.0, the latest version of its rate management software for the insurance industry. Ratabase is a set of tools designed to empower users to build, design and deploy insurance products as quickly as possible, according to a CGI press release.

The new release introduces enhancements to the software's Product Builder configuration tool and Calculator rating engine. The Product Builder toolset has been migrated to a .NET platform and has a new user experience that has minimal impact on user workflow, Ratabase says. Meanwhile, the Calculator component was improved with new abilities such as custom looping and new XML and JAVA APIs for data validation.
