Aetna Appoints New Lead for Group Insurance

Aetna, based in Hartford, Conn., has selected Sandra Callahan as head of group insurance, which oversees strategy, operations and product development for Disability, Life and Long-Term Care Insurance. ‎

Callahan’s previous experiences include leading group protection operations for Lincoln Financial Group, where her responsibilities included risk, administration, claims and service operations for the Disability, Live, Dental, Vision and Voluntary/Worksite businesses. Past experiences also include roles with Jefferson Pilot, Guarantee Life Insurance Co. and Mutual Omaha.
