Aflac Announces Management Changes
Columbus, Ga.-based Aflac has made some changes to its management roles and responsibilities to "enhance its global management structure," according to a company statement.
The moves, which go into effect July 1, include the following:
- Aflac president Paul Amos assumes assume reporting responsibilities for Aflac Japan and Aflac's Global Investment Division, with the goal of continuing Aflac's strength in the Japan region. He continues to report to Aflac Incorporated President and Chief Financial Officer Kriss Cloninger III.
Aflac adds CTO role to investments division
- Kenneth Janke has been named president of Aflac U.S. He will continue to serve as executive vice president and deputy CRO of Aflac Incorporated. Janke reports to Aflac Incorporated Chairman and CEO Daniel Amos.
- Teresa White has been named chief operating officer of Aflac's operations in Columbus, Ga. She had been EVP and chief service officer. Aflac's Group division, based in Columbia, S.C. is looking for a COO as well. Both positions will report to Janke.
