Aflac Selects Hara System for Energy Management and Sustainability
Aflac (Columbus, Ga.) has selected energy management and sustainability software provider Hara (San Mateo, Calif.) to help drive increased operational efficiencies and data accuracy as it relates to the supplemental insurance carrier's overall sustainability reporting, according to a vendor statement.
Using Hara's energy and sustainability system, Aflac will consolidate energy and emissions data into what the vendor describes as a comprehensive system of record for improved transparency, insight and enhanced sustainability.
"We look forward to working with Hara and developing energy and sustainability best practices that allow us to mitigate risk, reduce cost, and create greater efficiencies and help accelerate the transformation of our business in a sustainable way," comments Alfred Blackmar, vice president, facilities and support, Aflac.
